A French football pitch - Moroccan Style

October 26, 2026No locationBimbling Beck

A little memory when sorting through photos of a French football pitch with a Moroccan feel.

A small thatched wooden hut and two yellow soccer goals stand on a sandy beach backed by a rock breakwater. Calm blue ocean water stretches out to the horizon under a soft, cloud-streaked sky.

And, in case you missed it, here are those Moroccan football pitches, plus a bonus one below…

A rusted metal soccer goal frame stands alone on a barren, dusty dirt pitch under a clear blue sky. Piles of rocks and shallow trenches line the dry desert landscape behind the frame.
Watch out for the trench!
Weathered mud-brick ruins stand behind a dirt field with a crude soccer goal frame in an arid, hilly desert landscape. Power transmission towers rise against the rolling hills in the background under a partly cloudy sky.
In the middle of an historic old town
Rugged mountain peaks tower over a dry, rocky hillside dotted with sparse green vegetation and distant white villages under a clear blue sky.
Remote enough?
